Speaking is one of my top subjects! I have been a guest speaker at some conventions, and often do presentations for my company to the public. I know what makes a dynamic speech.

I work best one-on-one or in small groups, I can adjust my style to what a person needs after speaking with them for a while and understanding how they learn. I've found the best way to teach someone a new way of looking at something is to understand how they currently perceive it.
I have worked in art and graphic design professionally for the past 6 years, however I have been freelancing and creating art for myself since 1998. I previously worked for the Hayward Area Historical Society, which included assisting in design for exhibits as well as some teaching to visiting school groups. I have also been asked to teach small groups of children about art, or help with general homework on numerous occasions.

My comments on tutoring Speaking : Have been a radio disc jockey for two years of my life. Good at speaking to large audiences. Also wrote and published a book in 2012 and have done public speaking appearances related to that.

I taught Communications 101 to 20 "lifers" at San Quentin Prison as part of the Prison University Project. Some of these men had not been in a classroom in 20 years. I've also spent three years on the Advertising Review Committee for the California Chapter of the American Lung Association vetting all adverting, marketing and PR messaging for the marketplace. Lastly, I published my first book in 2012 entitled "Buzzkill," which is now used as required reading at Drexel University in a Psychology 101 course. It has excellent reviews and I have a blog I used to promote it. It is available on Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and about a million other outlets.

A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching children of all ages is fun and a good learning experience. Because each child is unique, and with that uniqueness, I treat them as an individual.
