My comments on tutoring Grammar : When I was in high school, English grammar was one of my best topics

I have tutored adults for free when they have needed a good eye to evaluate their work. Many adults can not spell and have trouble building a basic sentence. I am good at proofreading and helping the thoughts to flow better. I ask a lot of questions in order to help the student understand the thought process.
I prefer the style of patience and hands on. No computers, no spell check. the only way to learn is to do it yourself.

As a Junior in college I made the decision to become a teacher. The decision was based on the observation that a majority of teachers are over worked and don't have the time to provide the individual attention some students require. I performed my student teaching at a small school called Central Heights. I taught Physical Education- grades K-8, Physical Education-Freshman Boys, and 3rd Grade-all subjects. I am currently a teaching assistant for the Simpson College English Department. I selected the books for the semester, drafted the curriculum, and I instruct classes.
