I believe that children learn best when actively involved and take every opportunity to make this possible. I have eight years experience in the public school classroom. The majority of my experience has been in fourth grade, but I have also had the opportunity to teach fifth and third grades. My classrooms have always been self-contained, meaning that I have taught all subjects. I am extremely familiar with the North Carolina teaching standards and requirements of elementary students. Students will be prepared for state testing as a result of my teaching.

I am currently a high school junior. That being said, I do not have a degree. However, I am in the top 20% of my high school class, I take only honors classes, and actually learn the material so I can tutor a student who needs help. I would love to help any child or student who is wanting to excel in their studies. (: I would describe my teaching style as friendly. I try not to give off so much of teacher-student type atmosphere, because many children get discouraged and are not as comfortable and not as willing to learn.

I am an outstanding writer. I been writing books ever since I was six years old and I still write books. I have three books completed but I haven't published them because I do not have the money. I have experience with young kids and young adults to help them be successful in the near future. I have to say without the help of my love ones and all of my teachers I wouldn't have helped so many people lives.
