I have eight years experience in the public school classroom. The majority of my experience has been in fourth grade, but I have also had the opportunity to teach fifth and third grades. My classrooms have always been self-contained, meaning that I have taught all subjects. I am extremely familiar with the North Carolina teaching standards and requirements of elementary students. I am currently a high school junior. That being said, I do not have a degree. However, I am in the top 20% of my high school class, I take only honors classes, and actually learn the material so I can tutor a student who needs help. In fact, I believe that there is no such thing as a bad question, and that a student should ask a question as many times as s/he feels it is necessary to do so.
