In my experience with teaching, I find that the best way to connect and convey the information is to provide aural, visual and experiential exposure to the material. Everyone does not learn at the same pace or through the same exposure to material. It is also important to be perceptive to the possibility of student frustration as this is almost always a road block that will arise and if not identified can lead to lower absorption of the material or complete lack of understanding and drive altogether.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of Rowan University, however have 3-4 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring the spring of my sophomore year (organic and general chemistry) and continued tutoring through the university till half way through my junior year. Since then I have tutored directly for the chemistry department at Rowan University as a volunteer tutor. Even after my graduation I have continued to volunteer my services to the University. Over the past 4 years of tutoring, I have tutored in General Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Quantitative Analysis, Biochemistry, and Instrumental Methods. A Little Bit About Me...

Presently I am a Supplemental Faculty in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware. I have taught courses in the areas of calculus, linear algebra and differential equations which has given me a very good feel to teach in different Mathematics areas. As I was a Teaching Assistant in Chemical Engineering while I was in graduate school, I can teach various chemistry related courses.
