As a childbirth educator I have developed and taught perinatal classes to adults of all levels of education. As a parish nurse I have presented numerous health topics to a variety of church and civic groups.

I believe that everyone learns information at a different pace and that some information is easier to process than other information. I believe that individuals should be comfortable while learning in order for them to actually learn. I have wanted to work with kids all my life. I love the way that they learn and think, and how different it is from adults. I studied Biology at Warren Wilson College in hopes of becoming a high school biology teacher.
