Hello! My name is Evie and I'm a recent graduate from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. I love teaching eager students, young or old, and sharing my passion for music with them. I tend to focus on orchestral and chamber playing, because these two categories make up the bulk of what flautists will participate in. I have experience teaching children with learning disabilities, as well as more advanced adults. I also have special training in the Alexander technique, which ensures that players are using their bodies in constructive ways instead of physically harmful ones. Flute is one of my top subjects! I have been performing in restaurants and events playing the flute. I believe I am very capable of teaching someone how to play better since I have been playing for many years and do this for a living.
