A Little Bit About Me...

I took a few classes on teaching at a small community college while I was still in high school. I still am considering becoming a teacher after going back to school to complete my major in accounting. I've always been a stronger believer in one-on-one teaching working more proficiently then being taught in a classroom. I am very patient and hard-working. I had an internship at an under-priviledged daycare for local children in Maryland and it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever accomplished. I understand the difficulty in learning new things takes time and patience so I am fully willing to diligently work to help encourage students to strive to reach goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a healthcare consultant with an associate degree in Management and bachelor degree in Business Administration, I spent much of my time writing, presenting, and educating. My mathematical, grammatical, presentation and writing skills were honed. I taught all levels of hospital personnel how to improve operations and use their new computer systems in both classroom and private sessions. I did some private tutoring last summer. I am an approved substitute teacher for the Indian River School District.
Many students have difficulty in a classroom setting because the teacher teaches one way, while not all students learn the same way. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating from college, I worked in a Top Secret position in Washington, D.C. I left that position to pursue teaching, and earned a Masters from Boston University. I taught high school classes for several years, and also worked in IT as a trainer and troubleshooter. I was asked to direct a community college basic skills program, and did so for 7 years, rising to a Dean's level. I have more recently taught and consulted for a private primary school. I have recently moved to Delaware after a long time out West.
I like a jump right in style that is forthright and honest. I have a sense of humor, and will use it teaching, but only sparingly.
