I have a strong math and science background. In college, I started out in chemical engineering (2 1/2 yrs.) and then switched to education. My bachelor’s degree is a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Initially, I taught first grade in a parochial school. I have been an educator for 24 years. I have never thought about doing anything else because I love teaching. I've been told that I have a way with students that makes them feel comfortable and confident. I have taught everything from K thru 8th grade and I esp. love middle school.
