I am a rising senior at Harvard University where I study Human Evolutionary Biology with an emphasis on behavior and a secondary in Music. I am home for the summer whilst working on my thesis on the evolutionary origins of music in response to war, protest, and strike. I am excited to tutor while home. I did a lot of small group teaching and hands on activities. I always did whatever I needed to do in order for my children to be successful.

I believe children learn by experiences and examples. Making it relevant and interesting makes them to want to learn. They begin to understand the purpose for learning the material. Children have different learning styles and every child doesn't learn at the same rate. Teachers must realize this when planning lessons. Students need to know that to have the basics such as a home, a car and food for their family, they need an education. Kids don't think about the future and how their decisions will determine the rest of their lives.
