The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. These integrated units allow us the opportunity to make sure children are learning relevant information and applying that knowledge to real life scenarios. I graduated from Hope College in three years with a BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry, and a minor in Classical Studies. I tutored throughout high school and college.
