I am a former UConn graduate (1984) with a BS in Marketing. Many of my electives were in mathematics, enabling me to work as a student tutor on campus. I have also completed coursework in anatomy and physiology. In addition to tutoring college level students I have worked with elementary and middle school children in church youth groups, assisting with bible verse memorization and reading skills,as well as staging music productions. My teaching style is relaxed, but focused. I believe all children can be natural learners, especially when they find something that interests them. Patience is the key with children.
