A Little Bit About Me...

I am certified to teach students of kindergarten age through the 6th grade. I taught all subjects including math, reading, history, science, social studies, etc. This certification was achieved by attending Old Dominion University's Career Switcher Program. As such a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Business Finance degree, I can teach a variety of subjects for older students, to include insurance, statistics, investment education, accounting, and marketing. In 2007, I graduated from Penn State with a plan of attending graduate school for Creative Writing. I was devastated when I received three rejection letters from schools I admired. Instead of letting that devastation break me down, I accepted a job as an SAT/ACT Preparation Teacher at a learning center.
