I have a BA in English and Creative Writing. I received a MA in English Literature in 2005. I began my teaching career at Calhoun teaching English Composition 101 and 102. As a graduate of the University of Alabama, I have had several experiences within the classroom. Throughout my student teaching, I have worked with grades K, 2, 3, and 5. After graduating, I began substituting for all elementary grade levels. My substituting experiences led to a maternity leave position in a third grade classroom.
