My teaching style is show the child what they have to do and then have them do it with my help and then have them do it without my help. I have been working with children both in the classroom and out to excel their knowledge of mathematics. I have been a tutor, a teacher aide, and have student taught at the high school and elementary level. I have both experience in one on one tutoring as well as group (5+). Group tutoring is always been something that I like due to the other children helping each other out. In Algebra 1, students are really learning the" art of problem solving". Compared to previous math, problems get more complicated, both in structure and presentation. Logic skills are required, in addition to the arithmetic skills taught up to this point.
