I graduated from my Master´s at West Virginia University in May 2010. Spanish Literature is my main area of concentration and Linguistics is my second area of concentration. I graduated in May 2008 with my bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at Universidad de Valladolid, Spain. I tutored fellow students regularly in Spanish, French, and German all 4 years of college, as I studied in Europe and Mexico, and was placed in advanced college levels my first semester in college. In the garment industry I used Spanish daily with subcontractors. In the hospitality industry I was used as a greeter for foreign language conventions, and to interpret foreign language E-mails. I spent 6 weeks as a 3rd grade Spanish student teacher in college, and the students were sad I was leaving-they loved Spanish while I was there. I am a believer in incorporating 'play acting' scenarios as part of teaching and of breaking down sentences, phrases, and words that more deeply imbed the logic behind the way the language is spoken.

As a private tutor, I give lessons to students whose ages range from thirteen to adult, and whose level varies from beginner to advanced.
