I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. I now attend graduate school to obtain an MS in Applied Anthropology. Just about every semester I have written a 7-15 page research paper and have written several other essays, reports, and assignments in general. After I received my degree in Elementary Education, I was a substitute teacher in IA for one year. I then worked, taught and advised at a small private college in Iowa. Summary of experience: I have a year of tutoring experience on statistics at St. Cloud State University. I helped create solutions for homework, hold tutor office hours to assist students, grade their homework, and create study materials for exams. I was also an at-risk youth counselor at the Catholic Charities for six months. Teaching Style I prefer to let students learn according to their style of learning. Ever student has different needs and I can help them focus on areas they doesn't understand as well as others. I can also show students that studying can be fun.
