I earned the History and Criminal Justice Department Awards at Graduation and I also Graduated with Honors in History scoring A marks in every History class. A Little Bit About Me...

I come from a family of teachers and have always felt that teaching was one of the most important professions because it can have such a positive effect on the lives of others. I began tutoring students in math when I was in high school and found that my patience, easy-going nature, and ability to explain complex topics in simple terms made me a natural teacher. I approach teaching is “learner centered.” I first determine a student’s personality and learning style. Then, I tailor the instruction to use his or her strengths to accelerate comprehension. Building on the basics is essential to progressing through a subject area. Therefore, I will diagnose any gaps in learning and cover these before progressing.
