I truly care for children and helping them learn.

I believe that a teacher who is dedicated and loves to teach will give rise to students who love to learn. I taught freshman composition at Texas A&M Commerce and Paris Junior College. My primary focus in graduate school was literature. Much of my studies related to children's and adolescent literature. The study of composition and compositional theory made up a secondary focus of my studies. As an honor student at the University of Texas at Arlington I was very much driven to achieve a high level of education.
