I prefer working one on one with students and in group situations I utilize a collaborative learning approach.
I taught freshman composition at Texas A&M Commerce and Paris Junior College. My primary focus in graduate school was literature. Much of my studies related to children's and adolescent literature. The study of composition and compositional theory made up a secondary focus of my studies. After graduating, I worked in the sales and management fields and assisted students in the community in writing speeches for competition and personal statements for college applications.

I am working toward a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Philosophy. I have achieved very high marks in college board English examinations and I am VERY proficient in all aspects of the English field.
