I am a certified teacher from William Carey University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. My endorsments are in English and Social Studies, and I am currently working on becoming certified in Special Education. I currently work at an elementary school in a reading lab. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 wiht a degree in Psychology. While attending USM I taught a combined class Of 3rd And 4th grades. for the past 16 years I have tutor Reading, Math, History, and basic science to children in my family and community. I also substitute teach for 3 school districts.
I believe a child can learn any subject put before him/her. With the belief that a child can learn, it is my challenge to find out what style of learning best fits each child being tutored. When teaching I take the time to present materials one way, and if the student doesn't comprhend I will present it another way. My goal is to help each student meet his or her potential.

As a Spring Hill College undergraduate, I was a recipient of the Metropolitan Service Grant. Under this grant I tutored at Mobile County Public Elementary and Middle Schools. I often tutored in mathematics.

I have worked both as a substitute teacher and as a certified teacher for around 15 years. I have taught a variety of different courses. I was certified to teach all sciences grades 7-12. However my certification has expired. I have taught both in the private and public sectors of education. I graduated a member of Kappa Delta Pi, as an international honor society.
