My comments on tutoring French : I have two years' experience with French as well as having experience with native French speakers. I took French while at University as well as in-home lessons with a private tutor.

During my high school and university careers, I have focused primarily on languages and language acquisition. I have studied 12 different languages and I have obtained varying degrees of proficiency in each of them: Latin, Romanian, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, German, Danish, Swedish, Greek, Scottish Gaelic, and Welsh. I am most proficient in Russian and Latin, with conversational proficiency in Danish, French, and Spanish. In all others, I have basic/intermediate proficiency skills. I also focused on history and historical circumspection. I minored in History while at University, taking many various history courses. I excelled in grammar, art, health, and science as well. I was a teacher at a private school for a year after college before I started a family and began home schooling. My daughter is now in the 8th grade and tests at the college level in reading and high school levels at most other subjects.

Attending and graduating from Davidson College, a small liberal arts college in NC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry was an extremely rewarding experience.
