My comments on tutoring French : I have two years' experience with French as well as having experience with native French speakers. I took French while at University as well as in-home lessons with a private tutor.

I love sharing my knowledge with others, whether it's in a group or one-on-one. I make sure that my pupils can easily comprehend what is going on during the lesson. Questions are a good indicator that active comprehension is taking place, and I am there to make sure that any and all questions that are to be had will be answered. I'm not one to "spoon-feed" per se, but if specialized attention is needed on a specific topic or subject, I am there to help with any and all questions that may arise during the process.
During my high school and university careers, I have focused primarily on languages and language acquisition. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. I have very strong math skills, especially in Algebra, which is what my daughter is learning now. I excelled in grammar, art, health, and science as well. I was a teacher at a private school for a year after college before I started a family and began home schooling. My daughter is now in the 8th grade and tests at the college level in reading and high school levels at most other subjects.

I find nothing more exciting and rewarding than teaching a topic or subject to an individual and seeing the expression and excitement on their face when they truly begin to understand the material. I have a First Class BA in English from Oxford University and a Masters in Film. After graduating I worked with an educational consultancy where I helped to create learning materials for numerous children and adults, many of whom were learning English as a second language or had dyslexia. This sparked my interest in tutoring. I went on to spend two years working with a prestigious tutoring company, teaching children of all ages. I have always had a desire to teach and be involved in education. After earning a degree in Broadcasting, I decided to change fields and get into teaching. I earned a CELTA (Certificate in English Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University in 1999. Upon receiving that certificate I immediately began teaching English to adults.
