My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : I have taught Testing strategies at all grade levels. Its important to know how to deal with the different question types on the tests. I also help ACT, SAT and OAA students with test strategies.

It is important to me that all children reach their best potential in whatever grade I am teaching. I have been in the teaching profession for 20 years and each day brings something different. As a foster parent, I tutored our first child as he progressed through kindergarten and the first grade. His previous school experience was lacking at best, and he had little confidence in his scholastic ability. I was able to pinpoint his natural aptitude--mathematics--and use it to help not only boost his self-esteem regarding academics, but also to tailor my approach to his other subjects as well.
