As a graduate of Miami University's College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a thematic sequence in Macroeconomics, I have the intellectual acumen to accommodate different types of students. Currently, I am a substitute teacher for Maumee City Schools and Rossford Exempted Village Schools on a 1 year short term substitute license from the state of Ohio. I also am a certified teacher with Sylvan Learning Schools. I have moved up the list in Maumee City Schools and I am regularly called in to substitute for grades K-12.
My teaching style is inclusive of the hands-on approach. I believe that all students should have equal access to education. I believe that anyone can understand the subject matter if it is presnted to them in a way that fits their unique learning style. I can demonstrate several ways to learn the same material, and have learned through my years of teaching experience how to quickly identify which method is best understood by an individual.
