My comments on tutoring Elementary Study Skills : I love working with students when it comes to Elementary skills. I am a visual learner, as well as hands-on. More importantly, I want to sharpen my students' mental skills, helping them become confident.

I believe in building a solid foundation in Mathematics and Science. I want to focus in the elementary age because that is the most opportune time to reach them. If they cannot be reached, it would be too late to reach them when they are in upper elementary grades.
I have taught Middle School Mathematics Science for three years and elementary education Math and Science for two. I have classroom experience and am ready to go personal with my students. So far I have only tutored one student for a year or so. However, I am very knowledgeable in these subjects and hope to make the best of your child's tutoring experience. And despite my inexperience, I am more than capable of tutoring. I also am willing to respect the established rules and wishes that the student's caretakers have placed upon us meeting.
I use note-cards and mnemonics. I'm also fond of repetition (which will allow the student to obviously retain the information) and often do reviews at the end of a session to further examine what said student is struggling with.
