I have been in the field of teaching for 16 years. I have a wealth of experience working with students in various settings, cultures and at different academic levels. A Little Bit About Me...

Whenever possible, I use highlighters, colored pencils, hands-on manipulatives, and other items to help students learn.
I have been teaching elementary students since 1995 in 1st and 4th grades. I have taught all subject areas, especially language arts and math. I want to encourage students to think for themselves and to work through their learning in a way that makes sense to them.
