I was a teaching assistant for past 1 year for 2 different subjects for 2 semesters. I used to conduct lab sessions, correct home works, labs and quizzes. In this past 1 year I came to know that every student has different level of understanding and we have to clear their doubt by getting at their level. We have to be always fully prepared with complete curriculum. Practical examples and theory are equally important. Before finalizing the class schedule for a semester it is important to understand average understanding of the class. Getting to know the student and relating thier interests to the material at hand is key to making a connection. I also believe it is critical to remain positive and supportive with students.
