I am very patient and don't mind reviewing the same material until a student has mastered it. I like to set goals and am very encouraging.
I 19 and have an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts. I have been taking college classes since I was a Jr in High School , and I have been tutoring my friends and younger relatives since the 6th grade. I have tutored subjects ranging from linear algebra to college calculus. I have never done formal tutoring ,and I think the most I have ever been paid for my tutoring services was a meal at cookout.

My comments on tutoring English : Because excellent English has been a lifelong goal, I have attained a high level of excellence in logical writing (e.g., Proposal preparation), Poetry Creation, Phrase Mastery (per se), Word Mastery (the 5300 "Mainspring" words in the English Language) and Public Speaking Speech Preparation. Changing The World, One Child AT A Time

I was an assistant teacher to a 3rd grade class at Wilson's Mills Elementary from 2001 until 2003. My duties included assisted the teacher and helping the students in a manner to help them learn at their pace. And I also have an 8 year old son who attends River Dell Elementary. I love when I can help others!

I am going to school to become a teacher in the grades of kindergarten through 5th, I have been a nanny for several people and have enjoyed it completely! During my nanny duties, I would of course have a home-schooling section and would also help around the house when needed, so I think that I am a very good candidate for teaching basics and other subjects to help kids better themselves and their studies!
My teaching style is more hands on because that's how I learned fastest when I was in school.
