My teaching style varies depending on the age and needs of the student. When I worked with younger children, I often made up a game to help the children learn the material while having fun. Even with older children I tried to make learning interactive and suit their personality. I also varied the amount and type of aid given based on the student’s needs. I have tutored students in reading programs from first grade to the High School Equivalency program. I also have a B.S. in broadcast journalism and currently am a literacy teacher in the fifth grade at LaFollette Elementary School in Campbell County.
