At a very young age I decided to be a veterinarian. While I have not yet completed this goal I have stayed true and remained in the biological science field. A Little Bit About Me...

My style is to teach a concept during the one on one session with me. I then give them homework to reinforce the learning on personal time. In the following meeting I revise what we learnt in previous session to ensure they understood before proceeding to next topic. My teaching style is very relational. I try to make learning come alive through using lots of personal examples that students can relate to. While we need to maintain a standards-based focus to help students succeed on standardized tests, there is much that can be done to help bring learning to life in a practical, hands-on way.
