As the oldest of five children, my 15+ years of tutoring experience includes helping my siblings in their homework when we were growing up. I have also taught English for two years at a private Junior/Senior girls' high school in Kyoto, Japan; mentored the English Speaking Society for the high school students; and, more recently, trained three content editors at Intel, as well as developed training classes for HP. I volunteered my services as an IT Consultant to DSBI (Dream it, See it, Be it) Academic Achievement Services/ City of Modesto to assist the impoverished locals get needed education. My work included tutoring staff and students in basic math, science and computer education. I also trained staff in maintaining computer software. I have a Bachelor Of Science in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Mathematics.
I have always enjoyed sharing what I have learned with others. My ability to simplify seemingly difficult concept coupled with my sense of humor, makes me an excellent choice for tutor.
