My teaching style is one in which I strive to engage students in the subject by both instructing and challenging them to think on their own. I also strive to accomplish this goal in such a manner that the student experiences the fun that is a part of learning, but one that also emphasizes the importance of the learning process as well. I have always loved working with children and I believe I can make a positive difference in childrens' lives. Children learn through seeing, hearing, saying, feeling and doing. I try to determine which combination of learning styles are best for each individual student and then use that method to teach them the subject. I think each child wants to learn and succeed and I believe I can help them be a success. I come from a family of readers, I love to read, and I love to teach children to become good readers.
