I am working on my Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I am taking classes at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. For instance, I've noticed that math students may have difficulty adding and subtracting fractions, but have no trouble whatsoever when I ask about dimes and quarters. If an instructor can build a bridge between new material and material the student has already mastered, the student's retention can significantly improve.
