I earned an Associate's Degree at Palm Beach Community College in 2005, and I am a current college student at the University of South Florida, graduating Summer 2010. I have a wealth of knowledge to give back and would love to work with a student challenged in the areas of reading, spelling, or grammer.

Excellent with children, I can adjust my teaching style with the personality of the child. No child learns the same, so it is important to create a learning plan that builds trust and respect between the child and tutor. I have found my greatest attribute is the ability to make learning fun and “cool.” I am passionate about teaching. If the children you teach can sense your passion for the subject, they will absorb that energy and want to excel. I also consider myself very patient - frustration has a very negative effect when trying to create a positive learning environment. Finally, I believe in creating a benchmark style constructional curriculum. I strive to instill the same love for learning my teachers gave me. Learning is for life.
My education is a private-based curriculum comprised of small student-teacher ratios. Since 4th grade I was taught intensive Spanish. A prep st ... read more
