I have previously, and am currently, tutoring a fourth grade student with his spelling and math. I graduated from Auburn High School with a 3.8 GPA. I have an ACT score of 30. I am a National Achievement Semifinalist because of my PSAT scores and am waiting to find out if my SAT scores were high enough to qualify as a finalist. I will be attending UAB in the Fall of 2013. I enjoy working with children because they are so optimistic and fun to teach.

Elementary Vocabulary is one of my top subjects!

I enjoy children, especially young children and I believe that everyone can learn. I know that one-on-one hands-on teaching is the best and that is the approach that I take when tutoring. Some skills must be memorized but cognitive recall is important. I believe in using whichever learning style works best for the child. For most children, hands-on is the best.
