Reading and Phonics Specialist

I have my BA in English from UC Berkeley and my MA in Teaching Reading and Writing. I have an interactive teaching style. NO WORKSHEETS FOR TEACHING READING. Instead, I use visual, auditory and kinesthetic teaching methods, allowing students to engage in the lesson in a fun memorable way.

I have taught Kindergarten - 5th Grade general and special education for over 20 years. My passion is helping students overcome learning difficulties. In addition to holding teaching credentials, I have been trained in Orton-Gillingham, and Lindamood-Bell.
