I love working with children of all ages and I believe that all children should have an equitable education. Because of the skills and abilities I possess in reading I have been able to help my own child achieve beyond her grade level and she is currently in the gifted program for reading. I enjoy teaching adults as well as high school students. I do not have much training teaching below junior high; however, I am confident that I could successfully teach math or language. Although, I don't mind the traditional classroom setting, I am quite used to instructing on a one-to-one basis. Our GED programs are completely individualized for learners to move at their own pace, and I encourage this type of teaching style when manageable.
