Musical is one of my top subjects!

I am a recent graduate of Jacksonville State University and hold a Bachelors degree in Music Education. I've been playing clarinet for about 12 years. I'm also certified by the state of Alabama in instrumental music education. I did my internship at Piedmont Middle School, Piedmont High School, and Kitty Stone Elementary School so I have had experience with students of all grade levels. I taught high school marching band camps and performed in a multitude of ensembles.

Musical is one of my top subjects! I studied music composition in school. If music theory or music history is giving you fits, I can explain it to you so that you can understand it.

I am not a fancy certified teacher. I don't speak Castilian Spanish, and I don't pretend that the Spanish that I speak is as formal as they speak in Madrid. But I am fluent, and I do know the language. I am new to the field of teaching, and trying to help others while I make a name for myself. I don't promise to make you fluent in Spanish overnight, but with interest and participation from you, I will teach you the Spanish that you need to accomplish your goals.
I teach mostly by rote. So, if you want an interactive lab, then I'm your man. Language is alive and meant to be spoken, not droned on about in a lecture.

Following the birth of my third child, I taught at her pre-school and caught the teaching "bug". I then completed a graduate program in Elementary Education, taught for one year in the public school system in Florida and then taught for one year in Alabama.
