In this last teaching job, I had a few individuals who I helped with some classes of the GED through the Rankin County Schools. I am a certified teacher k-12 in visual arts and have been teaching for the last ten years. I have an AA -Aeronautics, BA-Graphic Design, M.Ed.Art and MDiv degree. I have been tasked with improving the reading and writing skills of my students 9th through 12th grade. The majority of children are left brain thinkers and need to be challenged to utilize the right brain to evaluate, analyze, interpret, and understand the meaning of concepts and ideas. Higher level depth of knowledge thinking must employ the elements of the right brain: imagination, creativity, intuition, faith, and innovation, which are all necessary elements in problem solving.
