I have a peer tutoring teaching style. My goal is for the tutee to achieve success both independently and through his or her communication with others. For this to develop, I focus my efforts toward empathy and proceed to learn with the tutee. I have the knowledge to challenge the tutee with advanced objectives, and I have the responsiveness necessary to know the best time to present new challenges. A Little Bit About Me...

As a substitute teacher for the past three years, I have experiencing teaching nearly every academic subject. I am a published playwright and have sold over fifteen short scripts for religious one-acts to the Nashville-based Belden Street Music Company. My writing and composition skills are particularly strong, my understanding of grammar is excellent and I have worked extensively in high school English/writing classes. I also held a long term substitute assignment in an Air Force Junior ROTC program in which I taught leadership skills and character building. In addition to my BA in theatre, I minored in journalism/mass communication.
