My name is Alex and I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering from Kansas State University. I graduated from Bishop Miege High School. When they can make connections to more familiar things, then they can think themselves through problems more effectively. I usually achieve this by showing them how to do a problem, doing a problem or two with them, and then having them do problems on their own, only assisting when they need it.
