Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

I believe students must be able to understand the content at the deepest level to truly learn it and to do this you must make learning interesting. I am all about hands on learning. For example, if your child needs help in science and the unit is on the water cycle, I have different experiments that would help reinforce what they learn in class. Elementary is one of my top subjects! Lower Elementary Teacher for 15 years. I like to look for the special ways to meet the way a student learns. I believe each child learns differently.
