I graduated from San Diego State University, with a B.A. in Social Sciences and a Biology minor (Animal Behavior), in 1995. Previously, I had served four years in the U.S. Navy from 1982-1986. During 2001-2003, I worked for Salem-Keizer School District in Oregon as a Special Programs Instructional Assistant.
