My teaching style is quite organized, but also empathetic. I allow for students to use their various aptitudes and abilities to learn. For example, when a student normally presents a report to the class, that student reads from his notes. I had one student who was musically inclined and played her guitar to make her presentation. She used her musical skills quite effectively.
I am currently certified in the state of Arizona in the following subjects: English, Latin and general sciences. I teach two courses of Latin at Glendale Community College, Glendale, Arizona. One class is in the classroom and the other is on the Internet. I also am a substitute teacher in Peoria, Arizona.

A Little Bit About Me...

My experience is in teaching students at the college freshman level, but i also have mentored interns. My teaching style is a combination of hands on, sort of leading a student through a concept or process. I am an energetic, anecdotal, results-oriented type of teacher, and enjoy helping a student to become adept at problem-solving, or creative expression.
