I am a Spanish speaking individual whose had access to a great publix education. Although early in life I suffered a big setback, I did not let it stop me from pursuing a higher level of education. My love for learning, achievement and assisting others is a asset I possess. My persistence in reaching goals has transformed me into a strong, knowledgeable and highly driven person. A Little Bit About Me...

In 2005, I earned a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida. I have done a lot of research and am proficient in many areas of biology. Conducting research has taught me critical thinking, how to be attentive and organized, and how to develop the grammatical skills to get ideas across to my audience. As an undergraduate student, I worked as a genetics tutor. Last year I taught an Animal Reproductive Physiology and Endocrinology Laboratory that was offered to undergraduate students. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D.

I have worked as a tutor for elementary students up to college. I worked recently this year through Americorps at Williams Elementary and Idylwild Elementary in Gainesville, Fl. I tutored k-3rd grade. I also tutor English/Math on all levels to elementary and college students. I would say a total of 2-3 years combined tutoring
I worked as a teacher assistant at the University of Central Florida as a summer intern in 2004. I taught international students all subject levels to prepare for the Toefl exam. I have always been an avid reader and writer, as well as a natural teacher. As early as middle school, I was tutoring my fellow classmates at the request of their parents. I studied Latin for five years, which provided an exceptional foundation for the study of English, which I pursued as my major at Loyola University. I concentrated in Creative Writing, so the bulk of my college work consisted of reading and writing to very exacting standards.
