I believe in an interactive learning environment where I am constantly asking students for their inputs and working through problems with them. I love working with children of all ages and abilities and helping them with academics. I don't believe I have a specific teaching style. I enjoyed tutoring college students interested in physics. During my two years of experienced, I learned that students use different approaches solving physics problems. With physics, I try to apply the problem to a real world situation in which the student would be able to relate it to in which will help them fully understand what is being asked. I usually spend the first session finding a child's weaknesses in the subject. After this, I will prepare a list of problems for the child to work on under my supervision. As he works I will let him make his mistakes and then help him correct them. This, in my opinion, is the greatest way to learn math. Practice makes perfect. As I finished up my studies, started tutoring for lower level math majors. This included Calculus I,II,III, and statistics.
