Struggling with Math/Science? Local Scientist Offering Help.

Most of my experience stems from my Bachelor of Arts degree at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. As a Biology major, I have a good background in Life Sciences and Math. I have several study techniques that helped me succeed in college, as well as my current career as a Scientist Integrated DNA technologies in Coralville, IA. Some of my past experiences include working at a summer camp for two years as well as two years in an Emergency Room at a small hospital. With more than nine years of business experience in both Finance and Operations management and five years as a homemaker raising my four children, I have a very diverse level of experience which I will provide as a tutor. A Little Bit About Me...

I always believed that all the children are smart and can learn difficult things. For them to do that all they need is a good teacher who can develop their interest in the subject, which will ultimately result in their success. I was successful in doing that with my brother and my cousin and today they both work in IT companies and Software engineers. From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others. Therefore I always try to teach the subject in a manner that will consider all the different levels of students and in which questions are encouraged.

Because of my elementary background, it is safe to say I am a very patient person and I use that skill in my ability.
