As a college graduate and a teacher, I have aspired to help students from K through college to achieve their goals and to be the best they can be. Aditionally, I have taught all grades K-12 and have implemented Study skills courses for students in Grades 3-12. Currently I am a Math Specialist in a local public school system for students in grades K-5. Teaching is very subjective. Each individual learns according to his/her own style. What I find challenging and rewarding is to find that point where it “clicks”. I believe the best way to learn is through experience and discovery. As an example, I can describe the intelligence of an octopus. But until you actually see a video of one opening a jar for a treat, do you truly realize it as a thinking, planning being. I feel that teaching an individual how to use available resources is just as important as the actual subject. Enabling a student to go out and discover the wonders around him/her through research and education is a wonderful thing indeed.

I am a person who has spent his undergraduate years majoring in Chemistry, with Physics and Math. Thereafter, I switched my major to Biology because I wanted to do Brain Research and to do such research one has to have an interdisciplinary background. Currently, I am a PhD student majoring in Neurosciences. After my undergraduate education, I went to teach in a boarding school. I taught all science courses to students from grade 8 until grade 11.
