Having attended higher learning institutions for over 6 years, my drive for more education is apparent. Throughout my experiences, not only have I been tutored, but have tutored my peers in mostly math and sciences. I have developed my speaking and writing abilities through my own employment experiences and feel that I have what it takes to teach and train individuals manual labor skills as well as mathmatical skills and abstract thinking and problem solving skills to help them understand concepts and apply them to a task.

A Little Bit About Me...

Attending a private liberal arts college taught me to push myself to be the very best I could be. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics with an emphasis on Greek, and a minor in English. I tutored for a January term Beginning Greek class, as well as whenever students stopped in the office and needed help with Greek or Latin. I have proficient language and mnemonic skills, since I studied the roots of language for 7 semesters. I enjoy proofreading and editing, and consider myself to be a "word nerd."
I worked as a camp counselor for 3 summers, and understand that everyone has different learning styles. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Big Ten graduate from Penn State University, I was very much driven to push myself in a wide variety of subjects to achieve a well-rounded education. But I also earned my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University in La Jolla, Calif. My undergrad degree in Film and Video/Communications. I've also spent time in the US Air Force where I received training in newspaper writing and photography. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers for my graduate level classes, along with essays in many various areas of study.
